NEWYORK, one of the richest cities in the world, and it is also one of the most wasteful cities in this world. It has been reported that New York uses the most energy (“the equivalent of one oil supertanker every 1.5 days”), disposes of the most trash (33m tonnes per year), and uses the most water.
As an effect, New York experienced a brutal summer which means; severe urban heat island effect and the omnipresent stench of rotting garbage. Summer in New York makes one acutely aware of the near-constant presence of waste piling up on pavements waiting to be collected and trucked to an out-of-state landfill.
How does the state get rid of their waste?
Humans generated 2.01 billion tons of solid waste in 2016 and by 2050, that could rise to 3.4 billion tons, according to the World Bank. About 12% of all municipal waste in 2016 was plastic— 242 million tons of it.
Some countries ship their garbage to southeast Asian countries which for decades fed mills that recycled waste plastic, but these past few years, many countries banned imports.
In 2018, China banned imports which started the domino effect, so Shipments were diverted to Southeast Asia and later on it forced governments to take action.
Deal with your own garbage.
The solution could lie in new technologies and a change in social behavior that reduces and even eliminates the need for landfills and incinerators.
Some turned waste to sculptures, some countries like in japan just gave their trash a quick rinse, some turned them to papers, and bottles, there were also reports that it has been used to build buildings, but the most useful things are in can be used as electricity, fuel, and money.
An energy Asset-Based blockchain, EMJAC founded Azrizal Mydin is aiming to achieve this through constant innovation of its technology and product ecosystem. EMJAC is established to carry out a noble initiative in promoting innovations and pioneering methods in green technology and tokenizing the commodities via Blockchain integration.
Emjac’s Mission is to:
- leverage the latest blockchain technology to solve the global waste tyre stockpile
- Reduce illegal waste tyre dumping by creating value for waste tyres
- Streamline and trace the movement of waste tyres from source to a recycling plant
- Increase the percentage of global waste tyres recycled in an environmentally friendly manner
- Grant a long-term worldwide sustainable and renewable energy supply
- Providing a solution and trading platform for waste tyre supplies, logistics, and products.
EMJAC developed by a team of experts founded in 2016 and conceived the idea to demonstrate how waste tires being recycled in a clean and green manner adopting Advanced Continuous Thermal Recovery Unit (TRU) technology through a blockchain platform, From each waste tire, the TRU recycles 100% of the waste tire into 4 trad-able and usable commodities: Euro grade 2 synthetic diesel, refined carbon black (N550), steel wires and synthetic gas.
While EMJAC’s research began as an effort to find methods to offer a solution to the global waste tire problem and create new global market opportunities, the company may create renewable fuels and waste management options for the world.
EMJAC announced that they will be doing final round of Initial Exchange Offering to gather enough funds to finish their product which starts on 5/03 – 5/04/2020 on ChainX, Lukki & P2PB2B at a price of $0.11/EMJ with a minimum purchase of $100 with 20% discount.
