Q. Who is the man behind Swace?

My name is Dovydas Riasnojus. I am an entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in international business development and management.

I have founded and developed several international businesses including, most recently, Transcount, a startup company developing SaaS freight managing software.

My work in international companies and various roles managing, creating, and running companies, I have gained an understanding of the business world that enables me to be strategic, make informed decisions, and take calculated risks.

My exposure to different countries and cultures helped shape who I am and equipped me with strong business ethics and values. That’s what I look for when I recruit new talent and that’s what I think of when I want to introduce new services.

Q. What is Swace? How did you get the idea to start something like Swace?

I was chatting with friends in a bar in late 2015. At one point during the night, I realised that there was no singular way to post a selfie across all my social media platforms. This light bulb moment gave me an idea to create an app that could solve this problem.

Throughout the duration of the Swace project, the minds of everyone involved ran wild and it has gone through a number of forms. Its creation also allowed all of us to take a break from developing the complicated Transcount software we were then working on. This is how the original concept of Swace, then known as Selfiemus, was born. We met up with the owners of Selfie.com, and we planned to merge with them. However, social media then experienced a drop-off in the number of selfies published, so we changed tactics. In 2017, we presented Selfiemus to a wider audience at the WEB Summit in Lisbon, and we showcased our idea to attending mentors and advisors from all over the world. We received a lot of positive feedback in terms of the functionality of our concept, as well as equally helpful constructive criticism regarding our focus on selfies.

Without doubt, 2018 was a particularly difficult year for blockchain startups. For us, these challenges also presented us with a number of difficulties in terms of the creative process and building a new app from scratch. Thankfully, the market has recovered and I am so excited that this project that started in 2015 with some friends in a bar has continued to grow. I can only promise that we will continue moving forward. From a social media perspective, there is no doubt that it has become a strong tool in the hands of individuals and brands across the globe. However, social media alone does not bring in hordes of customers. The extremely emotional connection between a customer and a brand is the secret ingredient in advertising. Highly engaged customers buy more, promote more, and demonstrate more loyalty. Providing a high-quality customer experience is a very important component in your customer engagement strategy. This is necessary for all businesses. However, a platform able to provide such high-quality customer engagement to bridge the gap between consumers and brands simply did not exist. We launched Swace to serve that very purpose.

Q. How far has Swace come from the start? How is the development going in Swace?

Swace was no exception to the volatile blockahin industry in recent years, its effects made things that much harder to continue, but we persevere. As a matter of fact, we have finalized our Beta app launch and it will be available on both iOS and Android shortly. We are additionally working on astonishing new features including NFT, an in-app marketplace, augmented reality and location-based features, and so much more. These are planned to roll out during this year.

Q. How does Swace create user-brand interaction?

Swace does not create the interaction, but innovates on it. With Swace, brands’ audiences are given real-value rewards for interacting with brands’ content. That reward is not only useful in real-life scenarios, which it is, but it builds a much higher loyalty and engagement levels with the audience.

Users compete in social games launched by the brands, these games are designed to promote actions, build loyalty, and increase engagement. People love to compete, and win. Swace offers that and more emotional interactions with the brands with more functionalities in future versions including NFT, augmented reality (AR) and location-based games and more.

Q. Is there any prototype ready for Swace?

Swace Beta app has been submitted and is pending approval. The public beta app will be available to our audience imminently.

Q. What is Swace planning in the NFT space?

NFT is very promising for its value to online content and information, and in our digital age, NFT is shaping the future. Swace sees its value and recognizes its promising future, and we will introduce our own branded NFT collections by collecting artwork of our audience using Swace App. Both brands and individuals have the chance to participate in our NFT collections and support one another. Our exclusive NFT collection is to be created by the best artists and can be easily accessed by our partners or other brands. We see a huge synergy between the brands and NFT.

Q. What is the significance of SWACE token?

SWACE is a utility token. They are the corner stone of the entire Swace economy. The main currency of rewards on Swace App is SWACE. Individuals may send SWACE tokens to others to support them. Brands reward their audiences in SWACE. Additionally, SWACE tokens are best for use in Swace marketplace to purchase products or services through Swace App.

Q. What is Swace marketplace and how far along has it come?

Swace marketplace is an in-app shop where our audience may exchange their SWACE tokens to purchase products or services listed by our partners, making Swace app more than just post-your-selfie-here medium.

Swace app development is in progress and is planned for release during the second quarter of 2021.

Q. What are the features of Swace App?

Swace app offers an easy way to publish content, like a social medium does. An easy way to find people and follow, message them, like a social network does. Most importantly, it offers a reward-based social gaming platform for brands and audiences to build stronger relationships and revolutionize social marketing. Additionally, Swace NFT, Swace Marketplace, SWACE tokens, and more features for social games are coming to build on top of what’s already a great service.

Q. Which exchanges have currently listed SWACE token?

SWACE token is currently listed on CoinTiger, STEX, and ProBit Exchange. It’s our near-future goal to list SWACE on more exchanges, which we are planning to do and in some cases, have already began discussions about with certain exchanges. Announcements will be made once agreements are reached.

Q. Any message for our readers?

There’s no doubt we will bring more surprises that are to be announced later. Working with and embracing Swace for over past 5 years brought us a big bag of ideas and features to innovate on that are never seen before.
